Audited supplier means supplier is audited by either B2B company’s staff or independent agency in terms of its business registration, premises and staff. Below are the scopes of audit as per audit report posted on made-in-china portal.

2. Foreign trade capacity
3. Management system and product certification
4. Photos
5. Factory visit

Such report is very limited and not much useful. This report specifies only that supplier has office/factory and has capability of trade based. However on which basis foreign trade capacity has been specified is not very clear. Just company is registered entity does not mean that its promoters have business experience or they have not defaulted in past. Company registration is easy task and there are millions registered companies so nothing is guaranteed that if something goes wrong you will get money back.

Further you should read the disclaimer of audit agency like SGS. Inspection agency mentions that company’s sole responsibility is to its clients and not third party that means audit agency is not responsible to buyer who deals based on this audit report.
